Competition questions
What competitions can we run?
Golden Goal, where each entry gets a minute and the one nearest the first goal wins. Over the Bar, predicting a GAA score in goals and points. Perfect 10, calling ten results right. And Last Man Standing, where entrants pick a different team to win each round, a draw or a loss puts them out, and the last one standing wins.
What does it cost?
No setup fee and no monthly fee for a paid competition. We take 6.6% plus 30c from each entry, card processing included. The minimum entry fee is €3.
How are winners worked out?
From the match result. Points and winners are calculated when the match finishes, and if a match is called off, the backup match you chose takes its place.
Who can enter?
Anyone 18 or over. We check age before anyone pays.
Who pays the winners?
The club pays them directly. We tell you who won and what they're owed.
Do we need a permit?
Before your first competition goes live, your club confirms it holds a lottery permit or licence, or that it qualifies for the small-scale exemption.
